Talk submissions for Play by Play 2018 are now open and will close on February 10th, 2018. The Play by Play Festival, in the wonderful and windy Wellington, New Zealand, is looking for a new line-up of fantastic speakers for the Play by Play conference on Saturday, 21st of April, 2018.

We’re a unique game development conference that prides ourselves on talking about untrodden territory, esoteric niche knowledge, and having fun while doing so. Past talks have included: a megagames talk which incorporated a game played by the entire attending conference audience; a keynote about diversity in games opened with a sung parody to Lorde’s Royals; a talk about theme park weenies influencing level design - and so much more. Don’t be afraid to pitch something weird, wild or wonderful!

Some other fab points:

Accepted speakers receive a free pass to Play by Play's ticketed events, including the conference and awards night.
First-time speakers are encouraged - students, hobbyists and professionals alike. You more than likely have something amazing to share with Play by Play attendees, and if you're sitting on the fence, check out We Are All Awesome! Because, y'know. You are.
