17th-22nd April 2017

Wellington, New Zealand

The realm of gaming has so much to offer, and that bounty is growing. We need to celebrate games of all creeds - tabletop, pervasive, digital - and continue to share our work both with our peers and the public. Play by Play is here to take note of homegrown talent in game development, but also to reach out to the wider community and express what games have to offer to everyone.

A combination of public exhibition, free workshops for families, a targeted conference and formal awards ceremony, Play by Play aims to spend the week celebrating games in New Zealand (and across the ditch) touching as many bases as we can. We heard there's a combo for that.
